Some people may be intrigued by the idea of going to a sex party, but are apprehensive about doing so. An expert has revealed there are ways to reduce the nerves and make the most of the saucy experience
You may have wondered what it's like to visit a sex party.
Though we may all have ideas about what it's like, nobody really knows until they try it out in real life. According to a new survey by dating app Pure, at least one in seven people confirm they do, but 90% of adults feel they lack basic sex education, let alone exploring their kinks.
In time for International Sex Education Day on February 2, Anna Hint, a dating expert at Pure, shared her top tips on what to expect at the saucy events.

We would have broken up if we couldn’t have sex with other people
After being together in a monogamous relationship for five years and doing ‘every sexually adventurous thing you can do as a couple’, Jemma and Daz found it wasn’t enough.
The Bournemouth couple then turned to partner swapping, setting up a profile on a swinging website where they were invited to a mansion party for group sex.
Daz, 40, met Jemma, 43, on Tinder and the couple have now been together for 10 years despite their eyes being ‘drawn elsewhere’.
Jemma said: ‘I won’t go into too much detail about that night [at the mansion] – just say it was a real eye-opener and afterwards Daz and I decided this lifestyle choice was definitely for us.
‘Initially, the biggest challenge was jealousy (or the risk of it) – the thought of seeing your partner with another person is a scary one.
‘For us, it was all about taking things slow, [to] see your partner first kissing another person, then maybe [being] naked next to another person with light touching.’

Everything you ever wanted to know about swingers resorts
Admittedly, we've taken you on some pretty weird nakations in the past, from nude beaches and nude resorts, to the world's kinkiest festivals, naughty ski trips, and erotic vacations, but even we had to stop for a second upon discovering swingers resorts. Call us sheltered. Call us naive. We assumed they existed, of course, but we just didn't know much about them. Until now, that is. And everything we've learned, we're sharing with you.
So, are they just "adults only" all-inclusive resorts?
Sort of, in the sense that "adults only" means no kids. But no, in the sense that people aren't typically having public sex in your standard Cancun adults-only spots.
Wait, so then they're nude resorts?
Not technically. Though many swinger getaways are clothing-optional, they aren’t specifically nude resorts. Which means, you’ll have to cover up for meals among other club activities -- like lawn chess.
What is a swinger exactly?
Swingers are generally couples in a relationship who enjoy having "relations" with other people's partners. There are different categories within what people refer to as “the lifestyle”, like exhibitionism, voyeurism, soft swaps, full swaps, orgies, and Game of Thrones. Ok, maybe not that last one.

Testimonial | As a couple for 15 years, libertinism gave us a second wind.
I met Philippe when I was 32 and our story has always been one of intensity. We are the type to burn life at both ends, one as well as the other. So we loved each other very much, very quickly. Our embraces always had that certain something, an almost animal sensuality that left us bloodless. We consummated our love to the end and we made three beautiful children.
The idea of libertinism came very naturally
When the children became teenagers, Philippe and I experienced a slump. I say slack but that's not entirely it. Our love was intact, we still made love as much and our complicity made many of our couples of friends envious. I had the impression that our daily lives were simply less intense, less excited. I no longer felt this rage for everyday life. Perhaps it’s normal after a certain age after all… More than weariness, I would say that we had a visceral need for adventure!
At that moment, Philippe and I both felt that our relationship was at a turning point. That it was time to bring something more to our history. The idea of libertinism came very naturally because we have always liked to explore our sexuality thoroughly. I can't even say which of us broached the subject of libertinism first, but one thing is certain: we agreed before even discussing it!
